A Deception Bay woman has described the “unreal” moment she discovered her Keno 10 Spot entry, bought in North Lakes, had won her $1.5 million.
The winner bought the Keno Classic 10 Spot winning entry at North Lakes Sports Club and after Friday’s draw takes home $1,555,758.
Speaking with a Keno official today, the regular player says she is still in shock at her early Christmas present.
“It’s wonderful!” she exclaims. “I go to the sports club every week, and whenever I am there, I play Keno.
“I couldn’t believe it when I checked my ticket and saw that I had won over a million dollars! It was unreal.
“I’m not sure what I am going to do with it. I just don’t know. I’ll just have to wait until it lands in my bank account. It’s still sinking in!”
North Lakes Sports Club Venue Manager Craig Allan says: “Everyone was so excited once we found out we had sold such a massive prize!
“We’ll be celebrating the win throughout the venue all week.
“I think our patrons will feel a little bit luckier knowing we’ve sold a 10 Spot prize. Congratulations to our winner!”
