Tyler takes Redcliffe title in battle to final hole

Tyler Duncan won a thrilling battle with Richard Cook to lift the Redcliffe Golf Club A Grade Championship final.

The match went down to the final 36th hole with Duncan holding on to win 1 up, under the match play format.

In the B Grade final, 12-year-old Zac Learoyd staged a remarkable comeback from six holes down at the 18-hole halfway point to beat Liam Little 2 and 1 on the 35th hole.

Amy Hodgkins and Christine Wright won their respective finals over 36 holes. Eric Railton and Aileen Jurczynski took the C Grade finals over 18 holes.

The Redcliffe Golf Club Championship Finals were sponsored by Marlene Newcombe, of Village Motors.
