Supporting our community with cash

Twenty-eight clubs and organisations from across the Moreton Bay Region have shared more than $75,000 in the Local Community Support Grants for 2020-21.

Recipients from the program, run by Moreton Bay Regional Council, include Kallangur Primary School which has received $2606 for beehives and beekeeping equipment, Redcliffe State High School has $2473 for a recycling project and Moreton Bay Rugby League Club which has $3000 for new equipment.

Patriots Australia Queensland Chapter: Ride on mover - $3000

Peninsula Cricket Club: Security camera system - $3000

Pine Rivers Athletic Football Club: Digital video camera, tripod and editing software - $2643

Pine Rivers Netball Association: Transport costs for players at state tournament - $3000

Pine Rivers Swans Australian Football Club: Goal post pads - $3000

Redcliffe High P&C Association: Reddi High Recycle Project - $2473

Redcliffe Junior Rugby Union Club: Rugby corner posts, hit shields and post pads - $3000

Redcliffe League Softball Association: Marquees - $2875

Samford Bowls Club: Ceiling fans - $2860

Peninsula Fair Darts Association: Dartboards - $1200

Redcliffe Pottery Group: Build concrete footpath - $2464

Scout Association of Australia Queensland, Albany Creek group: Dishwasher - $1599

Toc H Queensland Area: Projector and water pressure washer - $2948

Toorbul Pony Club: Shade sail - $1822

Volunteer Marine Rescue Bribie Island: Computers - $3000

Wamuran Stanley River Cricket Club: Cricket equipment - $2952

Woodford Golf Club: Wireless microphone kit and speakers - $2788
