Santa Paws is coming to town

Peninsula Animal Aid’s popular Christmas fundraiser returns this month when Santa Paws comes to town.

The jolly man in red will make a special visit to the Clontarf animal shelter on November 20, so animal lovers can have their fur babies photographed with him from 8am-1pm.

Bookings are essential, and open now for the COVID-safe event. They can be made via the Peninsula Animal Aid (PAA) website.

A spokeswoman said it was a fun day and a chance to have your photograph taken with your family and pets.

Charlotte Reeves Photography will take the photos again this year and North Pole projects will ensure Santa is ready and waiting.

“These high-quality photos are great to give to family and friends for Christmas or you can buy a digital copy to share on social media. They also make great mementos for yourself,” the spokeswoman said.

The popular PAA hydrobath will be operating as usual and nail clipping will be provided by FurBiz Pet Services.

PAA is a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity. The Santa Paws Photos day is an important fundraiser which helps enable PAA to continue to care for and rehome stray and surrendered cats and dogs.

PAA is located at 313 Duffield Rd, Clontarf.
