Motorists are being urged to obey all road signage across the Moreton Bay Region, with more than 40 roads across the region still closed due to floodwater and damage.
Authorities are still assessing whether a number of roads and bridges are safe to drive on before they can be declared open.
Queensland Police have warned harsh penalties apply to those disregarding or removing road closure signs or traffic cones, to drive on closed roads.
