PCYC upgrades in the works

PCYC upgrades in the works

Upgrades to PCYC buildings at Kippa-Ring, Everton Hills and Bray Park have moved a step closer with Moreton Bay Regional Council awarding a design tender this week.

Mode Design Corp was one of five companies to tender for the design work and has recently completed designs for the Samford Community Hub and the Samford Parklands Soccer Clubhouse.

Detailed designs

Under the $231,000 design project, Mode will create detailed designs to upgrade the northern amenities area at Kippa-Ring (Redcliffe) PCYC.

There will also be a new entry from the carpark and access parking is being relocated.

Improved access

At The Hills District PCYC at Everton Park, designs will be needed for a new entry, an access ramp, relocating accessibility parking and converting the stage area to accommodate boxing.

Stage 2 for Everton Hills involves designs for a new Kinder Gym Area, new amenities and a corridor linking to the existing Martial Arts Area.

Designs required for stage 1 of the Bray Park (Pine Rivers) PCYC building upgrade involve a new upper level amenities area and meeting room.

The designs are expected to be finished by December.
