If Roar beat Adelaide they will then travel south for a semi-final against Melbourne City or Sydney. Central Coast face Macarthur in the second elimination final.

Roar and Adelaide each won their home fixture when the sides met in the A-League season where they finished fourth and fifth respectively.

Ready to Roar

Mayor Peter Flannery said this weekend would be Moreton Bay Region’s time to shine, after Townsville hosts State of Origin on Wednesday.

“Moreton Daily stadium will Roar to life all weekend, with the Intrust Super Cup team taking on Burleigh Bears on Saturday night before the A-League elimination final on Sunday,” Mayor Flannery said.

“Our record investment in sports infrastructure in recent years is paying dividends, and I know local businesses will enjoy the injection of spending from Gold Coast and interstate visitors with these two matches.”

Gates will open at 1.30pm on Sunday for the Elimination Final. Supporters are urged to arrive early to easy congestion close to kick-off.
