Hannah Cullum-Sanders, pictured above, leads a host of Redcliffe Leagues Hockey Club players to have been selected for representative and national squads.

Cullum-Sanders, from Redcliffe’s Premier League One team, has been named in the National Development squad for 2022.

She is now eligible for selection by Australia’s top national women’s team, the Hockeyroos, for any tournaments this year.

The announcement followed the Hockey Australia Domestic Series on the Gold Coast earlier this month, also attended by Redcliffe’s Jordn Office and Jordan Bliss.

Selectors have still to announce the Australian Under 21 squad.

Redcliffe’s Division One men Joshua Blakey and Josh McPaul and Women’s Premier League One player Annelyse Tevant are in the Opens squads for the Australian Indoor team.

It’s a great achievement for Tevant who is still eligible for the junior squad, but has jumped straight into Opens. Jordan Bliss was named in the Emerging Indoor Squad.

The Queensland Under 18 teams have also been announced Redcliffe’s Ryley Bobart and Tom Campbell (Men’s 1), Sam Aitkenhead, Jack Hawthorne and Matthew Hawthorne (Men’s 2), Annelyse Tevant (Women’s 1) and Andie Griffin (Women’s 2).

Redcliffe's Women’s Premier League One player Sammi Morris was also part of the gold medal-winning Queensland Masters Over 34 team at the Hockey Australia Masters Invitational in Newcastle on March 14-18.
