The Deception Bay Club will be throwing open its doors again with a free family fun day on Australia Day.
Twelve hours of entertainment is planned at the Bayview Terrace venue from 10am-10pm, including live music from 4pm.
There will also be activities including throwing a thong, barefoot soccer, cricket and bowls, Gateball and darts.
Indigenous artists and performers are part of the program which includes raffles, prizes and some free food and drink.
Trish Hassum, from The Deception Bay Club, said it “should be an amazing day”.
This is the second free family fun day held at the club on Australia Day and organisers are hoping it will be bigger than last year.
It is being supported by a grant from Moreton Bay Regional Council.
