As a thank you for their efforts, Eatons Hill Hotel and the Red Hot Summer Tour have announced they are giving first responders two free tickets to the Red Hot Summer Tour Christmas Bash on Saturday, December 19, featuring James Reyne, Baby Animals, Chocolate Starfish and The Poor.
Duane McDonald, Director of Regional Touring, which is bringing the Red Hot Summer Tour’s Christmas Bash to the venue, is looking forward to thanking those that have battled the challenges of 2020 head-on.
“We are honoured to be able to give back, even in this small way. It’s time our nurses, doctors, fire fighters, police and paramedics enjoyed the freedom their efforts have allowed us. We look forward to seeing our heroes let their hair down and enjoy a day out at Eatons Hill Hotel,” Duane says.
Venue owner and Comiskey Group Director Rob Comiskey is glad to see live music return after what has been a devastating time for the entertainment and hospitality industries.
“2020 was challenging for all, our concert space at Eatons Hill Hotel lay dormant for over eight months and live music workers had little to no work,” Rob explains.
“I am so glad to see live music back and can’t wait for the Red Hot Summer Tour Christmas Bash to bring the venue to life once again.
“I am so grateful to be a Queenslander during this time and I am even more appreciative of the first responders who have made huge sacrifices to help our communities – not just during 2020 but through the devastating bushfire season and every other day on the job. This is our Christmas present to you. We all thank you for your services.”
All first responders must sign up HERE to get their free tickets for CovidSafe contact tracing reasons. Proof of service must be presented on arrival. Guests accompanying first responders are not required to be first responders.
