Diamonds virtually on our doorstep

Diamonds virtually on our doorstep

Technology and innovation are bringing the diamond capital of the world to Jade Jewellers in Burpengary next month.

Jade Jewellers’ owner Gary Coates had always wanted to travel to Antwerp, Belgium to have access to 80 per cent of the world’s diamonds.

Now, because of COVID-19, the doors to the best-quality diamond trade have been virtually opened.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to have access to diamond merchants which wouldn’t have been possible in normal circumstances,” Gary says.

“We will be able to pass savings on and make dreams come true, particularly if they are looking to have a custom-made piece of jewellery created.”

Chance to dazzle

Jade Jewellers is part of the Nationwide Jewellers Group and as such a direct importer of Antwerp diamonds which can be selected on their behalf.

“Customers could be after a certain look or colour,” says Gary, “they may want a 50-point diamond or a 1 carat diamond or a big single diamond or a few smaller ones to make something dazzling.

“You’re only limited to your imagination.

“There is nothing quite like having a unique piece of jewellery that you have had a hand in designing and Christmas is just around the corner.”

Jade Jewellers will be taking part in the exclusive virtual marketplace from September 21-24 but customers can provide details of their requirements ahead of the event.
