Convoy for kids returns

Brisbane Convoy for Kids will roll into Redcliffe on November 6 in a bid to raise money for children’s hospice Hummingbird House.

Big rigs will travel from Forest Lake to Redcliffe Showgrounds, arriving about 9am, for a truck show, free rides, face painting, animal petting, magic shows, entertainment, auctions, food stalls, markets, night lights display and fireworks.

Gates open at 9am for the event, which is on until 8pm.

It is not only a family fun day, but also a truck show, with participants competing in a range of categories and all hoping to be the best in their class.

Tickets are $15 adults, $10 concession, $5 children (4-16 years), free for children aged 0-3 years.
