Celebrity chef dishes up a special Mother's Day luncheon

Treat your mum to a dining experience where she doesn’t have to cook or clean up afterwards by reserving her a seat at a special Mother’s Day luncheon.

A number of tickets are still available for Mother’s Day in Samford Valley, hosted by celebrity chef and Samford local Alastair McLeod.

The event will be held at Loop Growers in Draper, with two seatings to choose from on Sunday, May 8.

Mums will be treated to a three-course lunch and be entertained by the extraordinary talents of harpist Kim Kirkman, who was a musical director and member of The Ten Tenors.

Alastair says treating your mum to a fine dining experience is one way to show her you care.

“Food has always been something that brings people together, and it is used in a lot of different celebratory moments in our life,” Alastair says.

“When there are important days that we want to celebrate, we like to choose a special place to eat, a special meal – things that are important to the person we are celebrating.

“I enjoy cooking meals for those kinds of moments because it can have a lasting impact, and what better way to spoil your mum by taking her to a three course lunch at the beautiful Loop Growers farm."
