Be part of the Dolphins’ NRL action

Locals will soon be able to be an official part of their new NRL club when the Dolphins launch foundation memberships next week. Here’s what we know

The Dolphins will become the NRL’s 17th when they play their first match in March 2023, realising a 30-year dream for the Redcliffe-based club.

Fans are already showing their support by snapping up the new club’s merchandise, but they can sign on as members from next week.

The Dolphins will release four different memberships on Wednesday, March 16.

A premium foundation membership, known as the Glass House Club, will be limited to 1000 and will include seats at all 12 home games in 2023.

It will be the only way to lock in match tickets now for the 2023 season and will include a range of one-off historic benefits and memorabilia that will not be offered again.

Alternatively, fans can also lock in first access to season tickets for 2023 with the merchandise-based First-In Phinatics adult membership.

Children have not been forgotten either, with Flipper and Baby Flipper memberships available next week.

Dolphins’ Chief Executive Terry Reader says it is an exciting time for the club and for fans who want to ensure they’re part of history.

“The club has a proud 75 years of existence and has worked hard for the last three decades to make the move into the highest tier of rugby league in the world – the National Rugby League,” Reader says.

“Now fans will be able to ensure they are along for our journey into the NRL by joining as a member for 2022. We have ensured we have a range of memberships for everyone – from the premium Glass House Club membership to the First-In Phinatics offering that will allow people to say they were members from the start of the club.

“We have also catered for the junior Dolphins, with packages available for them.

“This is an important time for the club as we continue to work towards our debut in the competition, and the support of our fans is extremely important to the success of the club in the NRL.”

Exact pricing and details of other general ticketed membership options for 2023, which will become available in August, will also be released next week.
