Amazing Race scavenger hunt coming to Caboolture

Amazing Race scavenger hunt coming to Caboolture

Test your brain by uncovering clues and navigating various challenges at the first Amazing Race event at the Caboolture Historical Village next month.

Based on the same concept as the reality television show, teams will have specific stops called “pit stops” where they will complete different challenges to gather clues that will help them move forward in the game.

There will also be a series of ‘roadblocks’, which is a task that only one person from your team can do.

Wild Cherry Events Founder and Co-Director Carolyn Rothwell says the scavenger hunt is suitable for people of all ages.

“Wild Cherry Events and the Caboolture Historical Village have come together to bring you an event like no other,” she says.

“Designed to entertain both adults and children, this event will keep you guessing while you undertake challenges, puzzles, and mysteries.

“We have designed the Amazing Race to be family friendly with challenges that can be undertaken by all age groups. Children under 14 years will need an accompanying adult however will still be able to get in on all the action of the day.”

Need to know

Wild Cheery Events have provided teasers to give readers an insight into two of the challenge clues. They include; A train ride is a must, from here a clue will be in trust; and find the store where old items are brought, where you will need to weigh exactly one pound.

Tickets are $49.50 for a single ticket, $88 for a double ticket, and $132 for a family ticket for two adults and two children aged up to 16 years old. All ticket prices include GST. Children under five are free.

The package includes entry into the Caboolture Historical Village, participation in the Amazing Race including all clues, roadblocks and challenges, a trophy for the winning team, one sausage sizzle per person (extra can be purchased for $2.50), a can of soft drink and ice cream at one of the pit stops.
