Pig races, family entertainment and live music are among the attractions at this year’s Pine Rivers Show.
The longest running show in the Moreton Bay Region, it’s been staged since 1891 and will be back with a bang in 2021 with fireworks on the Friday and Saturday nights.
Organisers have lined up an action-packed event spanning multiple precincts at the Pine Rivers Showgrounds.
The Family Entertainment Stage will be host to Larrikin Puppets, planting workshops, Scrap the Clown and The Farmer Rob Show on Friday and Saturday, while there will be Geckos Wildlife presentations in the Showgrounds Hall on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm.
The Flip Out Centre Stage has a swag of entertainment across all three days, ranging from singing showcases, Awesome Adam the Magician, Brisbane Junior Theatre performances and Singing Galah Mick McKenna to Soul Music Studio and the Bayside Divas Choir.
On the main arena you can catch the Airtime FMX Motocross Team, Queensland Medieval Combat, Sheepdog Trials, a rodeo and fireworks.
The show is on July 30, 2-9pm; July 31, 9am-9pm and August 1, 9am-4pm at the Pine Rivers Showgrounds, 757 Gympie Rd, Lawnton.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for concession and students, with free entry for primary school-aged children and under.
