Sports Central Caboolture will be opening a new virtual centre, Play It Central, in early December as part of a $1 million refurbishment.

The interactive and virtual sporting venue will have three state-of-the-art golf simulators, two racing car simulators, arcade games, a cafe and bar.

This will be the first of its kind in Caboolture and Morayfield region.

Members and guests will be able to play at hundreds of golf courses around the world including Augusta National, Pebble Beach and St Andrews, just to name a few.

Famous tracks

If there’s a need for speed, racing car simulators will take ‘drivers’ to famous tracks like Mt Panorama, Philip Island Circuit, Circuit de Monaco and more.

Play It Central will also have a selection of pinball arcade games.

“We’re focused on delivering a unique and fun experience at Sports Central,” Ben Connors, Venue & Culture Manager at Sports Central, said.

“That’s why we’ve partnered with GolfSim Australia and SimworX Race Simulators to bring the highest quality offering to Play It Central.”

Play It Central will have two SimworX Race Simulators which have been custom built and manufactured in Australia.

Golf in comfort

“Professional race car drivers use these simulators, you can’t get any better than that,” Mr Connors said.

The GolfSim Australia simulators which have advanced technology capturing carry distance, backspin, ball launch angle and shows the ball travel on screen with no delay.

“Golfers will love it, and I think non-golfers will be surprised just how much fun it is,” Mr Connors said.

Bookings for Play It Central, at Sport Central Caboolture corner of Hasking St and Beerburrum Rd, will open soon.
