$3 million win is ‘life-changing’

A Moreton Bay man can’t wait to “see the whole world” after today discovering he’s won a $3 million Saturday Gold Lotto prize.

The thrilled winner held one of two division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4131, drawn Saturday 20 February 2021. Each entry takes home a division one prize worth $3,062,082.06.

Speaking with an official from The Lott this afternoon, the man said he’d been on cloud nine since discovering the exciting news.

“Oh my lord,” he laughed. “I can’t believe this. I only just found out. I can’t stop shaking! This is unreal. I am very, very happy.

“I have lived an extremely good life, but now it’s going to be an even better one. I can’t wait to break the news to my wife. She is going to be so excited.

“We will have to pop a bottle of champagne tonight and do some celebrating.”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his multi-million-dollar win, the emotional man said he already had a few things in mind.

“Well, we will definitely pay off the mortgage,” he said.

“I might get myself a flash new car too. There will definitely be some holidays too, once we can travel overseas again. I want to see the whole world!”

Where he bought his ticket

The division one winning entry was purchased at Kensington Village Newsagency at Bray Park.

The winning numbers in the Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4131 on 20 February 2021 were 9, 3, 5, 41, 35 and 26, while the supplementary numbers were 45 and 28.

Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4131 – one each from New South Wales and Queensland.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 286 so far this financial year, including 66 won by Golden Casket customers.

In 2020, Saturday Lotto created 122 millionaires across Australia.

There are more chances to win big with Tuesday’s Oz Lotto offering $10 million, while Thursday’s Powerball has $8 million up for grabs.
